Tang Yee Fun Francis
Meet Francis Tang, a Senior Academy Officer at AST with 14 years of PE teaching experience. He believes in social learning and helping teachers bring out every student's strengths.

Prior to joining AST, Francis was a Lead Teacher (PE) at Outram Secondary School. He is a strong believer that every student can learn and wants to learn. In 2020, Francis was awarded the President's Award for Teachers.
Throughout his 18 years in teaching, he has been a strong advocate for social learning, emphasising that teachers are the key to unlocking individual student strengths for the benefit of the whole class.
In his current role, Francis focuses on supporting teachers in building positive, collaborative learning cultures. He operates on the principle that all educators possess the desire and ability to excel. Through Appreciative Inquiry, he guides teachers to reflect on their successes, helping them refine a personal instructional style that is both sustainable and impactful.
Francis loves to listen to music in his free time. He would always volunteer to be the DJ for school events and weddings.
