Connecting Practice. Rejuvenating the Joy of Teaching
PESTA is proud to present the 2026 Teacher Leaders (TL) Symposium — a professional learning platform dedicated to deepening connections across practice, theory and purpose. Building on the success of our inaugural TL Symposium in 2024, this biennial event invites PE Teacher Leaders to share their classroom journeys with the broader fraternity, unearthing the thinking that drives impactful practice.
Under the theme “Connecting Practice. Rejuvenating the Joy of Teaching,” the symposium foregrounds the bridge between what teachers do and why they do it. Beyond celebrating successful strategies, participants are encouraged to articulate the educational theories and evidence-informed logic that supported their decisions — especially through challenging moments. Through honest reflections and structured insights, presenters illuminate how clarity of purpose inspires both student learning and professional joy.
Scheduled for Tuesday, 5 May 2026, this in-person symposium provides participants the opportunities to connect with peers, reflect on their own work and leave with actionable insights to reinvigorate their teaching practice.
More details on session highlights, programme and registration information will be available by 30 March 2026. Stay tuned to the PESTA website!
