SkillsFuture for Educators (SFEd) was announced at the MOE Committee of Supply 2020 under the Learn for Life movement. It is an initiative to improve teachers’ competencies and encourage lifelong learning.
The most important common success factor for all the changes we are making is our teachers. I think we have the best teaching force in the world to make our education reforms a success. Over the years, we have been able to recruit very good teachers. Many are attracted to the noble mission of education in helping to mould the future of our nation. Having recruited teachers, we need to continue to invest in their professional competencies...
