Resources for Developing 21CC in PE
The 21st Century Competencies (21CC) curriculum is designed to equip students with the essential skills and values needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. These videos illustrate possible methods for integrating 21CC into PE lessons, emphasising affective layering to enrich the learning experience. By focusing on planned tasks that foster these competencies, teachers can adapt and apply these strategies in a way that aligns with the outcomes of the 2024 PE Syllabus while also maintaining the physical nature of PE and ensuring a balanced and engaging approach.
The activities and the facilitation process, may or may not be enacted in totality during a typical PE lesson.
