Conversation with Professor Duarte Araujo
In this episode, we talk to Professor Duarte Araújo about the Ecological Dynamics Approach. He is a prominent figure in the field of sport psychology and motor behaviour. He serves as a professor at the Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon, where he leads the Laboratory of Expertise in Sport and coordinates the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of Human Performance (CIPER). His research focuses on sport expertise, decision-making, performance analysis, and skill learning from an ecological dynamics perspective. He has published over 200 scientific papers and more than 15 books. Notably, Stanford University has recognized him among the top 2% of researchers worldwide across all fields. Beyond academia, Professor Araújo collaborates extensively with sports institutions globally, contributing his expertise to enhance athletic performance and understanding.
