Aw Kai Yueh believes that meaningful professional growth is rooted in strong relationships, purposeful reflection, and practical relevance. As a Master Teacher, she partners with educators to deepen pedagogical thinking and cultivate communities where teachers feel empowered to inquire, experiment, and lead.
With over 20 years of experience in education, Kai Yueh has held key leadership roles including Subject Head (PE & CCA), Senior Teacher (PE), Lead Teacher (PE), and Senior Academy Officer at the Physical Education and Sports Teacher Academy (PESTA), prior to her appointment as a Master Teacher (PE). She holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching from the National Institute of Education, Singapore.
Kai Yueh focuses on elevating instructional practice through inquiry-led professional learning. She designs and facilitates professional growth across school, network, and system levels, providing tiered support that responds to teachers’ diverse contexts and needs. Through individual coaching and cross-school Communities of Practice, she champions collaborative problem-solving and professional agency. For Kai Yueh, the greatest fulfillment comes from seeing mentors and teachers grow into confident leaders who contribute meaningfully to the profession.
Ultimately, her work is guided by a commitment to the joy of learning. By supporting teachers to design adaptive, inquiry-driven learning experiences, she seeks to build collective capacity and empower educators to lead transformative change through future-ready Physical Education.
